Kenya - Domestic Travel Spending

Rising incomes and emerging middle class created a strong domestic tourism sector in Kenya. According to the WTTC, domestic travel spending generated 59% of direct travel and tourism GDP in 2015. This figure is expected to increase at an average annual rate of 5.4%, reaching $4.2 billion in 2026.
